The Karnataka ePass Vidyasiri Scholarship is a post-matric scholarship scheme launched by the Karnataka State for the welfare of students from backward classes and lower-income groups.

Vidyasiri Scholarship consists of three Schemes. One should apply for Vidyasiri scholarship schemes online according to their eligibility criteria.
The three schemes are as follows:
1. Fee Concession for the Complete Course Scheme.
Under this scheme, the Karnataka Government provides 100% concession on the complete course fee for the eligible students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.
- The applicant must be pursuing any post matriculation course at any institute recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
- The minimum attendance of the applicant must be 75%.
- The annual income of the parents of the applicant who belongs to the SC or ST category should not be more than INR 2 Lakhs.
- If the applicant belongs to OBC/PWD then the annual income of his/her parents should be less than INR 1 Lakh.
2. Fresh Hostel Registration.
The Karnataka Government provides free accommodation for the students who belong to the backward classes such as SC/ST/OBC/PWD.
This scheme is available for post-matric programs i.e. for the students who have passed their class 10th.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
- The applicant must belong to the backward class or PWD category.
- The distance of the institute from the applicant’s house should be more than 5 Km.
- The annual family income of the applicant should be less than 2.50 Lakhs.
3. Prathiba Puraskar Scholarship.
The Prathiba Puraskar Scholarship is provided to the students who have passed their 10th with more than 90%.
Under this scheme, the Government of Karnataka gives a reward of ₹1,000 to 10,000 SSLC Students and ₹500 to 50,000 Secondary PUC students based on the merit list.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The student must be a permanent resident of the State of Karnataka.
- The applicant must be a student of any Government or private school in Karnataka.
- The applicant should have scored more than 90% in class 10th.
- If the applicant belongs to category I, his or her annual family income should be less than INR 1 Lakh.
- If the applicant belongs to category 2A/2B/3A/3B, the annual family income should be less than INR 2.5 Lakhs.
