hello…sir I am Husna now I am in 10….sir I but I am very much confused, what subject I have to choose after 10 for software engineering….and I also want to know that….maths and physics is important for software engineering?….sir pls help me…sir, to know about all this….thank you
Growwpedia says
Hi Husna,
After the 10th when you go for your intermediate i.e 11th and 12th, in that you can choose PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths) along with these three subjects we’ve to take one more subject and for that you will be given an option to choose from the given subject, and that would be probably Hindi, IT, CS, Biology, etc. So you can choose IT as your 4th subject. These 4 subjects will help you in your further studies related to software engineer.
Hope you got the point.

Hi, Ankush, Good question asked. Although a background in Maths is not essential for most software engineering duties, it surely won’t hurt. Outside of programming, software engineers can improve their critical thinking skills through a variety of activities.

I AM IN THE TENTH STANDARD. I WANT TO BE A SOFTWARE ENGINEER. SO, AFTER THE 10TH WHAT should I DO? DIPLOMA OR CLASS 12TH?
PLZ REPLY!!!
Growwpedia says
Hey Bhumish,
If you wish to pursue a career in software engineering, you need to enroll in the SCIENCE stream after 10th grade and select one optional course in addition to Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English. COMPUTER SCIENCE, PHE, HINDI, ECONOMICS, and other subjects are among the optional subjects. I recommend that you take computer science as a subject since it will aid you in your Btech course and provide you some extra knowledge.
BHUMISH BOHIDAR says
So after the 10th what should I do? Diploma or class 12th?
Growwpedia says
You should first complete Intermediate after 10th i.e. Class 12th. It would prove to be more beneficial than a diploma.
BHUMISH BOHIDAR says
Umm.. I DONT LIKE PHYSICS CHEMISTRY TOO..

KHYATH says
Hello sir
This is khyath.
I even want to become a software engineer.
Ur article is awesome.
But I have a doubt.
After completing the 10th class, what should we do like intermediate or polytechnic?
Please reply sir.
Thank you, sir😄
Growwpedia says
Hi Khyath, it totally depends on you If you’ve decided to pursue a career as an engineer, I will recommend Polytechnic. By doing this so, you would become a junior engineer within 3 years after your 10th. But if you are not 100% sure about whether you want to take engineering as your career, then you should go for your Intermediate.
In Polytechnic after becoming a junior engineer you can start earning some penny and with this, you can also do distance learning for your further studies like Btech.
I Hope you got my point 🙂
